What are your tuition costs?
School Year 2024 – 2025:
Tuition for Olney Christian School for 2024-2025 is $5,760 for Elementary School and $5,960 for Middle School broken up in 11 monthly payments beginning in July.
We also require:
- A non-refundable $50 application fee to be paid with your application
- A $100 enrollment fee after acceptance to secure your spot before the school year begins.
It is our desire at Olney Christian School to provide high-quality education at a cost that families in our community can afford.
Please apply even if you think a private school education is more than you can afford!
We will do everything we can to help you pay the tuition. The overwhelming majority of our current families receive scholarship help.
Do you offer financial assistance?
There is in-house tuition assistance available through Olney Christian School. Tuition Assistance money is raised through donations and school fundraisers throughout the year. will be awarded based upon household income, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
To apply for Olney Christian School Tuition Assistance:
1. Your child must first be accepted to Olney Christian School before you may apply for tuition assistance. You will receive further information on how to access the application upon acceptance.
2. Each family must apply for at least two outside scholarships before applying for tuition assistance. There are many organizations in the Philadelphia area that offer scholarships. For more information and to begin the application process, see the next section below.
Will you require uniforms?
Yes. Information on what is required and where to purchase uniforms will be provided once your child is enrolled.
How many children will be in each classroom?
Our small classes of less than 20 students will guarantee individualized attention for each child
Do you offer specials like art and music?
How will you ensure the safety of my child?
All staff and faculty must have current child abuse clearances.
Visitors will not be allowed in the building without a staff or faculty member chaperoning them.
Windows will be open indoors to classrooms and staff/faculty will maintain an open door policy if in a room without windows and/or working one-on-one with students.
In addition, we will work proactively to prevent bullying and will not allow children to continue this behavior; children who do not display a change in heart and behavior will not be allowed to continue attending the school

To apply for admission to Olney Christian School, please fill out the application below and submit it to our office in person.
(If you prefer, downloading the form to a computer will allow the electronic fields to be filled in prior to printing.)
If you are unable to download the applications or cover letter, please feel free to contact us HERE for a printed copy.
When we have received your application and a non-refundable fee of $50, we will contact you to schedule an interview. You will be notified within a week of the interview of whether or not your child has been accepted.
Enrollment Process Once Your Child is Accepted
If your child is accepted and you choose to enroll them at Olney Christian School, you will be responsible for a $100 registration fee. This fee secures your child’s spot in the classroom and covers books, supplies and tuition set-up. Once we have received the fee, we will mail you a welcome packet.
After acceptance and enrollment, the Tuition Assistance Application will be sent to you electronically.
Tuition Assistance Applications will be processed on June 3rd and August 12th.

How can I learn about outside scholarships that may be available for my child?
Scholarships
The organizations listed below offer scholarships and financial assistance to families sending their children to a private school – please note that Olney Christian School has no affiliation with any of these foundations.
The following organizations require you to be a Pennsylvania Resident and also meet certain income guidelines.
*Children’s Scholarship Fund- Philadelphia, PA*
This Scholarship offers four-year K-8th grade scholarships to low-income families in Philadelphia. Scholarships are awarded by a lottery system. Recipients receive up to $2,800 towards tuition. The application is three simple qualifying questions. You can apply online at:
*Family Choice Scholarship*
This Scholarship is a project of the Pennsylvania Family Institute. They are committed to assisting families in sending students to the school of their choice. In previous years, they have given one time scholarship awards in the amount of $300 to $1,000. There is a $25 application fee. Applications are accepted until early July. *The Bravo Foundation*
Every year in June the Bravo Foundation holds a drawing, where it selects schools to win scholarship funding. If we are selected, we will send out the link for the scholarship application.
*The Bridge Foundation*
Similar to the Bravo Foundation, the Bridge Foundation holds a drawing as well, where it selects schools to win scholarship funding. If we are selected, we will send out the link for the scholarship application.
*CEO|America Children’s Educational Opportunity Fund*
CEO|America awards scholarships to students going into grades 2 to 8 and who are transferring from a public school to private school like Olney Christian. They make awards up to $3,500 for two years. More information can be found at:
What are transportation options for my child?
The school district provides free busing to students within 10 miles of the school in Philadelphia.
What health and vaccination requirements does OCS have for new students?
To ensure your child’s health records are up to date, we’ve made it easy to access the necessary forms.

How can my child receive vaccinations if we don’t have health insurance or if our insurance doesn’t cover immunizations?
Where to find vaccines in Philadelphia County:
If your child is insured
If your child has health insurance, the best way to get vaccinated is to make an appointment with your healthcare provider. However, pharmacies like CVS or Walgreens can administer some vaccines to children. Call ahead to check that your child can be vaccinated at the pharmacy, to make sure they have the vaccines you need, and that the vaccine be covered by your insurance.
Looking for a doctor for your child?
Call the number on the back of your child’s insurance card or visit the company’s website.
- Reach out to a City health center. Call ahead to make an appointment or learn about available walk-in hours. They’ll also be able to let you know what identification or proof of residency you’ll need (if any) for your child to be vaccinated.
